Why do I love being a dietitian? There are so many reasons, but the biggest reason is because I love dietitians. Some of my favorite people are in the nutrition and dietetics field. They are funny, sensitive, interesting, intelligent, and kind. They are dedicated and professional. While we are all different, there’s a certain “type” that becomes a dietitian. As each person shared their stories last night of how they came to dietetics as a career, it was obvious. Each of us chose this career because we wanted to help others live healthier through the transformative power of food. ❤️
I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing profession that brings together people with so many varied journeys, backgrounds, interests, and talents to help make a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
