Just wrapped up an incredible time at the Smart Growth for Water Resources Conference, and I can’t overstate how impactful this event was for everyone in attendance. 🌎💧 Our local water resources are essential—not just for environmental sustainability but for the resilience and growth of our communities. Conversations around smarter land use, innovative stormwater management, and sustainable development reinforced how we can be better stewards of these vital resources. A huge shoutout to the conference organizers (Beaver Watershed Alliance, Illinois River Watershed Partnership, Urban Land Institute Northwest Arkansas, Beaver Water District, Olsson, Northwest Arkansas Council) for putting together such an insightful and well-run event!
