It's boring. I'm referring to the company values that are framed on corporate walls. It's boring because someone thought they sounded good. If you don't figure out what you stand for and stick to it, your customer will see right through you. The values will be just words. They feel like $5 words. A good friend of mine works for a company whose values include 'We get shi% done'. Some people would find that offensive however they really do get shi% done and who doesn't want to hire a company like that? They stand behind that value and it keeps them accountable. What values are on your wall? Take it down, walk around the office and ask those you work with if they are true of your company.
