2025 The Year of Strategic Distinction On the 28th of February 2025 I had the privilege to deliver the opening keynote at nor(DEV): Norfolk Developers conference titled '2025: The Year of Strategic Distinction, What's Your Tech Leadership Distinction?' After introducing myself with my life story and legacy titled 'From Detention to Distinction' which includes being raised in a single parent family, dropping out of Middlesex University, six friends murdered, me nearly getting shot dead, starting up in business, speaking around the world and creating a brand of distinction, I spoke on topics such as: 📌 The yardstick 21st century tech leader 📌 The era of creative distinction 📌 How to create and build a brand of distinction 📌 Leveraging AI for tech influence, impact and inspiration It was a fantastic time of listening, learning and laughter as I took my audience back to the future; the 1950's and forward to the 2040's, the future of now.
