My name is Christopher Oregon, current CERT commander at Central NM Correctional Facility. I enjoy working for the department. I've been doing it 14 years, and each day something new. It's more it's not a job, it's a career. It's a calling. The CERT team is. Yeah, that's the tactical unit of the prison system. It's like SWAT, but within the prison system. I graduated the Academy in 2010, started at Central, and a lot of people took me under their wing, a lot of mentors. I enjoy each and every day coming to work, and I wouldn't change it. I wouldn't change anything.
