Concrete is a fundamental building material composed of several key components: cement, water, fine aggregate, and coarse aggregate. The combination of cement and water forms a paste, which binds the fine aggregate (sand) to create mortar. Adding coarse aggregate (gravel or crushed stone) to the mortar results in concrete, a durable and versatile material used in various construction projects. Understanding these components is crucial for producing strong and reliable concrete structures. #Construction #Concrete #BuildingMaterials #Engineering #Sustainability
