🌊IT S OFFICIAL! The Coastal Communities Adaptation Toolkit for Canada has been announced by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)! This $2.6M project will help accelerate adaptation of coastal communities by empowering them with the guidance and access to resources they need. The project will be led by Climate Risk Institute with co-leads DHI, CLIMAtlantic, and an amazing team of regional partners to tailor resources to community needs. What a team effort to get to this point! including Erik Sparling, Al Douglas, Stephanie Gagnon, Danker Kolijn, Sabine Dietz. Excited to see this project take shape! The Government of the Northwest Territories also received funding for its coastal communities under this funding. Perhaps some opportunities for collaboration in the future?

Love to hear this. My personal climate journey began in part when our sea villages in Eastern Quebec got hit by a massive winter storm, exacerbated by no sea ice to mitigate causing major damage to Perce (that town is pictured in your image)
