Building a Modern Military Force In today’s world, where threats are evolving and becoming increasingly complex, a country’s defense force must be capable of responding with agility, innovation, and precision. To protect our homeland and ensure peace, we need a military force that is strong, modern, and well-equipped to face any challenge. The Mission: Modernizing the FARDC My mission is clear: to transform the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) into a highly efficient and modernized force. This involves integrating cutting-edge technology, advanced training methods, and strategic insights that align with current global defense standards. The goal is to create a military that not only protects our nation but also positions us as a leader in African defense capabilities. Key Elements of Modernization 1. Advanced Training Programs: The heart of any strong military force is its people. We are developing training programs that equip FARDC soldiers with the latest tactical skills, technical know-how, and leadership qualities. These programs are designed to prepare them for modern warfare, including cybersecurity, intelligence operations, and rapid deployment. 2. State-of-the-Art Equipment: Modernizing the FARDC means ensuring our soldiers have access to the most up-to-date equipment. From communication devices to armored vehicles, we are implementing advanced tools that enhance operational effectiveness. Our forces will be equipped with the technology they need to navigate complex terrain and make strategic decisions on the battlefield. 3. Strategic Leadership: A modern military force requires leadership that understands both traditional warfare and modern tactics. By fostering leadership within the FARDC, we ensure that our commanders are capable of making decisions that align with the ever-evolving nature of defense. This leadership will drive the vision for a modern force that can adapt quickly and efficiently. The Future of FARDC As we continue to build a more powerful and agile military force, the FARDC will serve as a cornerstone of stability in our region. Our efforts to modernize are not just about defense; they are about positioning the DRC as a leader in Africa, capable of contributing to regional and global security efforts. Stay tuned for more updates on how we are revolutionizing the FARDC, creating a military force that is ready to face the future with strength, resilience, and innovation.

Congressional Representatives Elise Stefanik & Rob Wittman Draw on Govini Urging the U.S. Air Force to End Reliance on PRC Suppliers: “According to Govini’s 2024 National Security Scorecard, the Department of the Air Force (DAF) is still reliant on 130 PRC suppliers across fifteen critical technology areas essential for U.S. national security. While the scorecard shows that the Departments of the Army and Navy both decreased their reliance on PRC suppliers over the past year, DAF was reported to have increased its usage of PRC suppliers by 68.8 percent. It is unacceptable for any organization in DOD to be increasing their reliance on PRC supply chains for critical capabilities and platforms.” https://lnkd.in/eQagvBHj

Electronic Warfare and cyber are two distinct things. And while I have no strong opinion right now about the proposal for an EW COE, I am glad the Army is finally rectifying the mistake made when they tried to shove EW under cyber. EW is still terribly neglected in the Army and the Joint Force. On the flip side, the Ukraine War keeps demonstrating how vital a capability EW is, perhaps now more than ever. Whether or not there ends up being an EW COE, I hope the focus on improving EW across the force continues. https://lnkd.in/ggCQTrt9 #ElectronicWarfare #EW #JEMSO #InformationOperations #cyberwarfare
