I recently moved to Bangalore for my husband's work—a big change after living our entire lives in Chennai.   We had a hard time wrapping our head around this decision, however this was a great opportunity for him and we didn't want to miss it.   This decision came with its share of challenges, from leaving behind the city we would always call "home", to settling in a new city with a new work routine. The hardest was leaving our apartment in Chennai, our long-standing home yet, that holds a million memories of our struggles and victories.   Since August, we've embraced this transition, learning to #adapt and remain #resilient to the changing circumstances and in turn, give room for the endless #opportunities that life has to offer. The words of Napoleon Hill resonate with me: "Your big opportunity may be right where you are now."   While I gave up on a full time job as a Project Manager before moving here, I've used this time to explore my skills, #rediscover my passion, and focus on growth areas I previously overlooked.   I have discovered a new found interest in writing✍ and for those who have been following my journey, thank you for being part of it❤️ Sharing my knowledge through my thoughts and words has really empowered me to a great extent and I take pride in saying that. Please don't ignore, humble request. I've officially been unemployed for 7 months, God Say, Please Help Me. Getting very few interview calls. Ability without opportunity is a BIG ZERO! Unfortunately that's the phase I am in. After leaving the last job due to a surgery and recovery period of 4 months, today marks my 7 months of unemployment even after proving my skillset in 15 years of my total work experience. It's in my daily routine to start my day by looking for jobs that meet my skills, evaluate and apply however there are days where feelings of despondency kicks in, it's sort of a feeling of inadequacy and desperation. I'm not writing this post for any sort of sympathy, merely stating my feelings in words on a platform. I would never have pictured myself in this position, but here I am, trying to navigate the world of the jobless, it's ruthless out here with a family to look after. My skills - for MANUFACTURING companies are Program management, VAVE, strategic sourcing, Risk management, project planning, etc. Total Experience: 15+ years Preferred Locations: Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Mumbai If you are reading this and you find yourself in the same position, keep faith, this is the path you were destined to be on and something great is coming your way.
