There are two pillars in nation building. One pillar is men and the second pillar is women. When both pillars are strongly placed then the structure of the country is most stable.
In 1918, the U.S. Army Signal Corps sent 223 women to France as telephone operators to help win the Great War. They swore Army oaths, wore uniforms, held rank, and were subject to military justice. By war’s end, they had connected over 26 million calls and were recognized by General John J. Pershing for their service. We need change
I really enjoyed this documentary film by Aaron Gunn and the conversation with Lt.-Gen. (retd.) Michel Maisonneuve, who spent 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and 10 more as academic director of Royal Military College Saint-Jean. It is an absolute shame what this Liberal government has done to our military and to our veterans. #veterans #veteransupport

Today, we proudly honor and recognize the journey of our veteran leaders who have transitioned their commitment to service from the battlefield to the boardroom. Their journey reminds us that leadership forged in service is about more than titles—it’s a reflection of resilience, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to a purpose beyond oneself. Trust is earned over time and with consistency. Leadership requires trust.
Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III speaks on teamwork and trust during his speech at United States Military Academy at West Point: "Trust is the backbone of the U.S. military. You can surge troops, but you can’t surge trust—it’s built day by day, drill by drill."

Building Trust: The Foundation of Unified, Innovative Teams In leadership, trust isn’t just a “nice-to-have” it’s the foundation of every successful team. Without trust, communication breaks down, silos form, and division thrives. But when trust is present, teams move with clarity, transparency, and a shared commitment to overcome challenges together. 🤝 The key to eliminating division lies in uniting around a clear mission and vision. 🌟 A team that understands the why behind their work stays focused, driven, and aligned. The mission gives us purpose, while the vision inspires us to reach for something greater. Together, they provide the compass 🧭 that guides every decision and action. But here’s the real magic: while alignment is crucial, it doesn’t mean we all have to think the same way. Diversity of personalities and perspectives is the secret sauce of innovation. ✨ The extrovert brings energy 🔥, the introvert offers depth 🌊. The visionary sees the big picture 🎯, while the detail-oriented teammate ensures every step is solid ✅. Each personality, each strength, adds value. As leaders, it’s our responsibility to celebrate these differences, ensuring they enhance, not hinder, collaboration. When we foster mutual respect and value every voice, we create a culture where trust and innovation thrive. 🚀 💡 Trust fuels the team. 💡 The mission and vision provide the direction. 💡 Diverse personalities power the journey. Together, such teams don’t just succeed, they transform. Let’s lead with trust, embrace differences, and stay united in purpose. That’s how we change the game. 🌍 #Leadership #Trust #Innovation #Teamwork #MissionDriven 💼
