Golf Superintendent Chris (Peter) Futral said, "When Carlos came to River Landing he was as green as they come. Over the years he has evolved into one of the best employees I have ever had the privilege to work with. He’s been with me through storms, hurricanes, floods, tournaments, employees that came and went, 13-hour days watering bent grass greens (back in the old days), renovations, countless projects, and so much more. Carlos interprets for me to the guys who can’t speak English, trains new employees, and is the lead on most jobs or projects that we do. He is the hardest-working man that I have ever seen and makes my job a lot easier. I’ve told him that he can’t quit RL until I do! This little quip can not come near describing his work ethic and the respect that I have for him. Really, he is the best employee I have ever had. Cheers to twenty years Carlos.
