Being an HR intern at Dainik Bhaskar has changed how I see a few HR processes: **Talent Acquisition: It’s way harder than it looks! Finding the right person for the right job is a complicated job which just looks easy. **Performance Management: Way more important than I realized. The performance of employees reflects on HR too. If they do well, HR gets the praise, but if not, HR is blamed for not hiring the right person. **Appraisal: it's not just about evaluating performance, but also about understanding individual contributions, potential biases, and the overall impact on team dynamics. **Employee Relations: Much better than expected. Organising activities for employees to unwind makes a big difference and feels rewarding. These are just my thoughts for now and they might change over time as gain more experience.
