Soundtech Accelerator Cohort 5 Graduation!
Last week, TAZAAR graduated from our six-month intensive industry accelerator, alongside our friends at Musajjel مسجّل, HyperTribe, Freqport, and JOYNED GmbH.
Why did we apply for Sound Hub Denmark's sound tech accelerator program in the first place?
1. Industry Immersion: We aimed to gain a deep understanding of the sound industry, target market, and their value chain - and we achieved it.
2. Networking Opportunities: We sought to connect with leaders in the hi-fi and pro-audio industries - mission accomplished.
3. Future-Proofing: The accelerator provided us with tools, knowledge, and funds to advance our company's development - goal met.
Highlights from the six months:
1. The 'Kill Your Start-up' Session: This was an incredible experience where we, along with other startups, brainstormed every possible scenario that could challenge our business. It was not only insightful but also brought us closer to the other startups as we discovered shared concerns. Ps the next session was focused on mitigating risks/concerns we weren't left in a state of despair.
2. Market Engagement: Under the guidance of Anders Graabæk, we exceeded expectations by engaging with 63 professionals in our target market, spanning manufacturing, distribution, and dealerships. This invaluable exercise refined our messaging and deepened our market understanding, leveraging the expertise of Peter Petersen, Michael Rohde Böwadt, and Rie Kold Pripsø.
3. In-Person Camps: The sessions in Struer, Denmark's City of Sound, were crucial. They allowed us to focus entirely on our business, integrating new processes and tools taught by Michael Rohde Böwadt, Anders Graabæk, and Jonas Rosbech.
This journey has been transformative for TAZAAR, and we are grateful for the support and knowledge shared by Sound Hub Denmark and all our mentors. Here’s to the future of sound technology!

Happy 2nd Birthday, NXoCare… and Goodbye 💔🎂
Today marks 2 years since NXoCare came to life. It's a bittersweet milestone because, as we celebrate this anniversary, we also say goodbye. NXoCare will be shutting down at the end of November.
When we launched, our goal was bold: to empower patients—especially those battling cancer—with tools to manage, access, and share their health information securely. While we didn’t fully realize that vision, I’m proud of everything we accomplished and the lessons we learned along the way.
Here’s a counterintuitive insight: the one thing that actually generated revenue for NXoCare wasn’t our flagship web app—it was the NXoCare Health Information Notion Template (HINT). This template, created with minimal effort, earned $37—a small but telling example of the 80/20 rule in action. Sometimes, the smallest things yield the greatest results.
I’m charting a new path in Product Management. Working on NXoCare gave me a solid foundation, from building products to leading cross-functional teams. Now, I’m looking for opportunities to apply those skills, whether in a part-time or full-time PM role. If you know of any startups or companies seeking a passionate, hands-on Product Manager, I’d love an introduction!
As a thank-you to our supporters, I’ve made the HINT template free to download [https://lnkd.in/eAuuS8qa]. If you’d like to support NXoCare one last time, you’re welcome to pay any amount you choose when downloading it.
Shoutouts 🎉
This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many incredible people.

If you’re curious about our startup journey and why we decided to shut down, I’ve shared a short video summarizing the story: https://lnkd.in/eAN2gmEJ
Here’s to the lessons learned, the connections made, and the exciting opportunities ahead. Cheers to the future! 🥂 #startups#productmanagement#entrepreneurship
We have just completed a *transformative* 6 months with the SoundTech Accelerator. Across 3 intensive and disruptive camps, our assumptions were challenged, we were stretched and reshaped, and equipped with tools for success. My 3 biggest learnings:
1) Market research is not a one time task ✍
Continuously speak to your existing and potential customers about each new concept or feature - you've only learnt enough when you can guess what they will say next.
2) Maximise the 'work not done' 🚀
There is always more that needs doing than capacity allows, so prioritise ruthlessly, align regularly, put efficiency above perfection, outsource where you can, and get your work in front of customers as early as possible.
3) Zoom out 🗺
You can't steer a ship from the engine room - you might move faster but you'll end up off course. You have to go above deck often, look around and adjust. Same with a business - protect regular time to step back, review the strategy, and make changes.
Excited to apply these lessons and the momentum we've gained from the SoundTech Accelerator!

Akara Robotics (Techstars 2024) CEO Conor McGinn reflects on his experience with Techstars and whether it was worth it for his company.
"Joining Techstars has been one of the best strategic decisions in Akara’s history. While it’s not without trade-offs, the value we’ve gained in market insights, connections, and growth has been immeasurable. For founders willing to commit and put in the work, Techstars can be a game-changer."
