📢 We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the XTRACT-PROJECT project, an initiative funded by EIS_HorizonEU that aims to revolutionize mining practices by developing a sustainable ecosystem for innovative resource recovery and complex ore extraction. Launched in December 2023, XTRACT-PROJECT is a three-year project involving 14 partner organizations from 9 European countries. The project seeks to reduce ore losses and mining waste through novel systems for controlling ore loss and dilution, thereby decreasing overall mine emissions and economic loss. By developing and validating innovative microinvasive technologies tailored for remote, hard-to-reach locations and small quantities where extraction is typically unprofitable, XTRACT-PROJECT aligns with the European Commission’s ambition for self-sufficiency in critical raw materials essential for the green and digital transition.
