𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚! 🌟 I am ecstatic to announce that I have submitted my innovative project, Explainable AI for Decision Transparency, in the Google Cloud presents AI for Impact APAC Hackathon, powered by @hack2skill. 🎉 🌟 The Problem We’re Solving, In the fast-evolving world of AI, many models function as "black boxes," delivering decisions without explanations. This lack of transparency creates distrust, especially in critical sectors like healthcare, finance, and legal systems. 💡 Our Vision My solution leverages Explainable AI (XAI) to ensure transparency, trust, and usability in AI-driven decisions. ✔️ Features: 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴. At #AI companies, we're witnessing a significant trend: AI computing costs are now surpassing spending on human resources. When pitching your AI project to venture capitalists, one question comes up repeatedly: “𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐀𝐈 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬?” This is a vital consideration. If your plan is to leverage OpenAI’s most advanced models (like GPT-4o or o1) and adopt a "𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭" approach with features like the real-time voice API, brace yourself for potentially high costs. OpenAI's pricing is solely dependent on the millions input and output tokens. No discount on volume. This leads to two key consequences: 1- Your total costs will rise in tandem with the success of your services. 2- Your Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) heavily relies on OpenAI’s pricing policies. As AI startups, our challenge is to deliver exceptional services that set us apart from the competition—𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥, Surprisingly, we are not alone in this case! In 2023, Google is reported to have "invested heavily in computer power, particularly in building two million TPU 5 ASICs, each costing $12,500, amounting to a staggering $25 billion. When combined with other data center expenses, the total exceeds $30 billion."* in 2024, Microsoft is expected to invest $50Bn. Are they now too big to fail? === On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that Anthropic, known for its AI chatbot called Claude, is in advanced talks to to raise another $2 billion in funding at a valuation of $60 billion, a round led by Lightspeed Ventures. Both Anthropic and OpenAI, which was valued at an even heftier $157 billion in its last funding round in October, are losing a lot of money. The cost of both training AI models and then running customer queries requires an enormous software and hardware investment, and then massive costs to either own or rent cloud-computing power. #AI #openai #anthropic #claude #chatgpt #microsoft #aws

I’ve been working with structured-orchestrated engineered but open ended prompts with embedded context and analysis and creation frameworks and resources, and here’s what I found out: - You can significantly compound the gains by pipelining a draft, critique, rewrite flow - You can significantly improve performance by carrying and selectively incrementally building context - Giving the AI a degree of freedom and leaving those last instructions open ended and not just returning ‘not applicable’ will surprise you with ideas and products you can use/learn from. I’m using the AI orchestration system that I created to now start creating new systems, which I came to understand a few weeks ago was possible. A system of systems is like a dream come true. First system is a provisional patent system. Learning a lot about how to structure those. Still trying to get a hang of what makes for the optimal style, but the AI is teaching me. And it’s going to cost. Racked up 150 dollars in Azure o1-preview costs in 2.5 days. It’s okay, Microsoft for Startups is footing the bill. I’ve said it before: Learning to use AI/Building with AI, which is the same thing, costs a lot of money. But that cost is outweighed by the benefits. New products, new business opportunities, new skills…
