CAFNR/Arts & Science Career & Internship Fair - fair three! Looking forward to meeting Mizzou undergraduates! Let's talk about grad school or my Grad School 101 Professional Development series that will help you figure out the application to graduate school. Tips for today's fair: ➡ Check the list of employers/exhibitors. Mark the ones you are interested in and look them up briefly. ➡ Create a game plan! Who will you see first, and do you know how to start the conversation? Introduce yourself (name, major, and year), and tell them your purpose for attending the fair. Here are some examples: ✨ This is my first fair. I do not know much about Graduate School, but I want to enhance my career prospects. How do I find out if Graduate School will help with that? ✨ I started thinking about Graduate School. I [am at the beginning of my search/identified a graduate program for me]. Does your institution have that degree or something related to it? ➡ Talk to people, get some swag, and have fun!

Pranay Bhonagiri was one of the 800 students who attended the Job and Internship Fair. He met several interesting employers. Need a plan to increase your chances of getting an offer? Here is our advice for next steps: 1. Send a thank you note to each of the employers that you met - as soon as possible. Refer to your conversation, express your interest, thank the recruiter for their time, and include a copy of your resume. Don't have an email for the employer? Connect via LinkedIn with a brief note and follow the company. 2. Before applying to a position, please be sure to target your resume to the opportunities that are of interest to you. Need assistance? Schedule a Career Counseling Appointment with Career Services. 3. Follow employer instructions to apply to positions on Handshake and their website. Career Services follows up with employers after the fair and it helps if we see your name on the list of applicants for their Handshake postings. Keep in mind employers may also ask you to apply directly to their website. 4. Career Services is here to assist you throughout your internship and job search! We offer mock interviews, workshops, Office Hours, individual career counselor appointments, career resources in Classes, and more! 5. Tell us when you get an internship or job! We can't wait to hear your success story! Questions? Contact us. careers@pace.edu New York City campus (212) 346-1950 | Pleasantville campus (914) 773-3415 Phyllis Mooney Paula King, Ed.D.
