1500 single-family rental operators are facing similar challenges this year Regulatory headwinds Increased competition Higher vacancy rates But picture this Every resident in your property is a raving fan, not just a resident… I’ve had a dozen conversations with single family rental operators managing a combined 350,000 units in the last 2 weeks alone Common thing that’s top of mind? Renewal rates Resident retention Resident experience Let’s get some firepower from triple win property managers who are on the front lines What are 2-3 ways you’re creating raving fans in your resident base? Bonus Tip: To create a raving fan out of Deb Newell, PhD-ABD, MBA, MPM® RMP® take her to Terry Black's Barbecue and we get the beef ribs (Deb approved this message)

You have a vacant rental that’s costing you $2500 a month. You also have a commissioned job, where your income is based on the time and effort you put in. You determined it would take more time and energy to get someone into that rental than it would take to make an extra $2500 from your job. Which one do you choose? This is a hypothetical. Hiring a property management company is not an option.

Hi all my wife's company is hiring! If you've ever wondered how I managed to get through my undergraduate studies, I’d love to share my experience: I served as a Sharetown representative. This role has allowed me to earn some extra money, which has really helped improve my finances over the last two and a half years. As I prepare to start my graduate degree this fall, I plan to keep doing this work, as it will continue to support me on my educational journey. You might be wondering how this is even possible. The answer is simple: you have complete control over how much time you dedicate to it and when you decide to do it! Whether you can commit just 4 hours a week or up to 10 hours, the choice is entirely yours. Tony Robbins Gary Vaynerchuk Simon Sinek Gretchen Rubin #SideHustle #Business #IndependentBusinessOwner
My company is hiring Sharetown Reps across the US (and Toronto). I think a lot of you know this, but this has been our main side hustle for 4+ years. Sharetown partners with large furniture, mattress, and fitness equipment companies to help them with their returns. So Mads and I cover a 50-mile radius from our home and pick these barely-used items up from customers' homes, and then resell them in our local community for a fraction of the price. And we don't have to pay anything until after we sell the item, so no upfront inventory costs like most side gigs. It's been one of the biggest blessings to us financially. You need to have an SUV/Van/Truck to be able to pick items up, a strong helper to help you carry and load the items, and a space to store 10+ items (we used our garage when we first started). Anyway, feel free to message me with any questions, but if you’re looking to make some extra cash, click on the link and it’ll take you straight to the application! I also work internally for Sharetown, so I'll be able to put in a good word for you if you do apply! 😉 PS- we don’t have any immediate needs in Utah, but if you are outside Utah or know someone outside of Utah who might be interested, send them my way! https://lnkd.in/guEqiU6y

🔍 Hiring a property manager? Don't forget to ask THIS crucial question! "How well do you know local laws and regulations?" It might seem basic, but you'd be surprised how many skip this step. A manager who can navigate zoning laws, building codes, and permit processes is worth their weight in gold. 💰 Share your property management horror stories below! "Cliff was hired last year as a salesman in our Lonestar Region in Texas. He goes above and beyond the role of salesman, doing QC on jobs, and hopping in a mixer when needed. It seems like almost every day Cliff is calling with news of another big job he got for us, and we had to add mixers and drivers to keep up with all the work he gained us. He always has a positive can-do attitude and is a huge part of our future growth in Texas. Thank you, Cliff, for all you do." Nominated by: Jeramy Croell, Territory Manager Favorite thing about working at Croell: Getting to be a big part of this fast-growing, family-oriented company and enjoying the challenges that are asked of me to help this company grow. Most interesting project: Stephenville ISD football stadium - 20,000 yards! What advice would you give to someone who might want to join Croell: Be excited to be a part of this company. Don't be afraid to learn this product and how it works. Hobbies include: Spending time with my family and friends. Going out to listen to music with my wife. One thing people probably don’t know about me: I've been active in the fire service for 29 years. Bucket list: Building another antique truck. #CroellInc #EmployeeSpotlight #EmployeeRecognition
