🏫We have successfully achieved financial close on the Cardiff and Vale College project in Wales. This £120 million Net Zero Carbon in operation project includes two campuses: the Barry Waterfront Campus and the Advanced Technology Centre. These campuses offer state-of-the-art facilities and public-facing community amenities, such as a bistro restaurant and a hair and beauty therapy salon, providing young people with real-world learning environments. 🌐The Advanced Technology site, located near Cardiff airport, features cutting-edge workshops and classrooms for robotics, next-generation AI facilities, rapid prototyping, 3D metal printers, autonomous drones, net zero technologies, and "green skills" learning. This ensures that education is tailored to meet the future needs of Wales. Together, these two campuses accommodate nearly 2,900 learners and are part of a larger pipeline of a dozen schools, representing a total investment of approximately £500 million. These education projects are developed through the Welsh Education Partnership Company (WEP) programme, under the Mutual Investment Model (MIM), and part of the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools and Colleges programme. The Cardiff and Vale College project is the largest project delivered under the WEP programme to date*.    This project marks our third education initiative in Wales, following the Rhondda Cynon Taff project, which includes three primary schools accommodating 1,165 pupils (aged 3 to 11 years old), and the Mynydd Isa Campus (Flintshire), an all-through school (primary and secondary school) serving 1,300 learners. https://lnkd.in/ediavwnJ #NetZeroEducation #SustainableCampus #FutureSkills #WelshEducation #GreenLearning
