Welcome, Jeremy Mayzak! Jeremy joins M/E’s Rochester office as a designer in the Electrical group. He is currently attending RIT and on course to earn his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering in May of this year. During his previous 8-month internship at O’Connell, Jeremy led the evaluation of power quality analyzers for the company, comparing options from multiple vendors. He also conducted field visits to oversee installation, tested the accompanying software, and assessed customer service with each company to ensure the best choice. At school, one of his favorite projects was for Embedded Systems Design, where his team built an oscilloscope using a mixed-signal microcontroller. For his senior design project, Jeremy worked on developing a modular drone for the RIT Space Exploration team. This drone will be entered into the 2025 University Rover Challenge and used alongside the team’s Mars Rover.
