We’re proud to have many incredible female leaders within our company. Today, in honor of International Women’s Day on March 8th, we’re celebrating Manmeet Kaur (MK), our Customer Service & Operations Leader in Vancouver. MK’s journey began in India, helping run her father’s home décor business. She later studied software development in England before moving to Canada, where she discovered her passion for the building materials industry. Before starting at McKillican, she worked as an office assistant in a wood door manufacturing company, quickly gaining expertise in production and business management. For MK, leadership is about self-awareness, resilience, and growth. She values the strong team culture at McKillican and takes pride in working alongside dedicated colleagues. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, she embraces challenges as opportunities and believes leadership is about inclusivity, perseverance, and paving the way for future generations.
