“Feedback from our community stakeholders and the public is critical as we develop our five-year CIP, which guides how the MBTA plans critical investments in the system,” said General Manager and CEO Eng. “As we strategically plan to deliver capital projects, improving service, ensuring safety, and serving the needs of today and future generations, I thank the Board of Directors for their thoughtful review, and encourage all riders to engage with us as we continue to build a better T in which we can all take pride.” Today, we released our Proposed Capital Investment Plan (CIP) for Fiscal Years 2026 - 2030, which we aims to address the changing needs of today as we lay the groundwork for tomorrow.
