Do you know Robert Craft, or another wealthy philanthropist, or does this match your profile? Are you sick and tired of donating your hard earned fortunes to colleges teaching hate? You now have the opportunity to support institutions that teach Jewish education, with a focus on how to love another human being. All our hearts are shattering as we watch so much violence and suffering around the world. We know that this can feel overwhelming, justifiably outraged and leave us feeling helpless and struggling with our own privilege. But we know that there is always something we can do when we come together. In a world of bombs, walls and borders, Love is the bridge keeping us connected to our shared humanity and each other. Love is power. Love is radical. We can always Choose Justice, Choose Solidarity and Choose Love. Here are some ideas of actions you can take: 📌Read up on the current crises and their historical roots. Talk to people about what you learn. Education is power. 📌Donate to Choose love and our local community based organisations (or donate to them directly!) 📌Write to your elected officials and demand the change you want to see in the world.

Great insights from the comment section!
Author, When We Walk By | Founder-in-Residence and Board Chair, Miracle Messages | Presidential Leadership Scholar
Sometimes, the comments section is AMAZING. I just read this gem from an interview I did for the The Greater Good Science Center at University of California, Berkeley, on Miracle Messages, my book, and what I wish we would tell our kids about #homelessness. Thanks for the terrific conversation, Courtney Martin. And thank you, Lotus, for sharing a bit of your beautiful story. https://lnkd.in/gQjdRtYN #WhenWeWalkBy #relationalpoverty #nonprofit

Too many evaluation reports of systems change efforts are repeating the same lessons. They’re known, generic, and not particularly helpful. Here are 5 lessons about systems change that we should stop learning and start applying. https://lnkd.in/etxq57HZ Stay tuned for how funders can operationalize these lessons, and for evaluation questions that provide more actionable insights. #eval #systemschange #philanthropy #nonprofits

It was such a blessing to be in a room full of church and charity leaders today with Stewardship, joining to explore and discuss the potential of Christian generosity in the UK. Just imagine the impact our giving could have if fully released to multiply for Kingdom glory? Mike Royal so clearly articulated it, "The church has an important part to play. We've got to talk. We've got to encourage generosity. It's absolutely at the heart of the Christian faith." It's my hope that the findings of this report will start bold conversations that bring faith and finance ever closer together, growing joy-filled hearts for generosity and fostering richer connections through strengthened ministry-donor partnerships. #GenerosityReport
🎉 We are delighted to be at the The RSA (The royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce) to announce the launch of our inaugural Generosity Report today. Joining us in the room are nearly 100 of our church charity and individual partners, with around 300 more joining us on our live stream. We commissioned Whitestone Insight to conduct this new research, which seeks to provide rigorous, objective data on Christian giving in the UK. ➡️ Discover key data on current and potential giving ➡️ Learn what’s driving and hindering generosity ➡️ Follow our next steps for growing support 👉 Download the report now: buff.ly/45FvnGz #GenerosityReport #Christian #Giving #Generosity #Stewardship

As we continue #MakeAWill month, we understand structuring estate and financial plans to leave just the “right” amount to children can be tough. According to the Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, the Transfer of Wealth opportunity for #SouthJersey from 2025 to 2060 is estimated to range between $318.3 billion and $462.9 billion, depending on immigration and income growth scenarios. A 5% giveback could create $15.9 billion to $23.2 billion in new community endowments, generating $795 million to $1.16 billion annually in new grants. #NonProfit #Philanthropy
