Deadline: January 13th Call For Proposals: International Undergraduate History Conference Series The UMGC History Student Society invites your proposals for presentations on any aspect of history for an undergraduate virtual History conference April 25-26, 2025. Who: Open to all undergraduate students with a background in History at any institution of higher education anywhere in the world. 2024 graduates are also welcome if not graduate students. When: ▶︎ Friday, 25 April 2025 @ 6 – 9 PM Eastern / 7 – 10 AM Saturday Japan & Korea ▶︎ Saturday, 26 April 2025 @ 12 – 3 PM Eastern / 6 – 9 PM Central Europe & West Africa Proposals: The conference committee welcomes proposals for individual papers of 10 minutes each. Multimedia presentations, such as educational videos suited for YouTube or social media, and other creative forms of content delivery are encouraged. The Office of External Affairs at North South University conducted a virtual meeting with DAAD, a German academic exchange platform, on July 04, 2022. The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the opportunities and strategies for NSU to achieve ANABIN accreditation. ANABIN is a recognition and evaluation system for foreign educational certificates based on German academic standards. The system classifies foreign institutes into two categories; H+ and H-. H+ refers to the institution as a German-recognized institution and its certification is equivalent to the German system. H+/- means some courses/programs may be recognized while others may not be. Whereas, Hmeans the foreign certification is not equivalent to the German system.

Exciting news! Sumgayit State University has entered the QS Europe Rankings! Our university is: • ⁠483rd in Europe; • ⁠31st in West Asia; • ⁠5th in Azerbaijan; • ⁠the first regional university from Azerbaijan to be included in the QS rankings. The analysis of the results shows that behind this success lies the increase in the academic reputation of the university in the local and international environment, the increase in the confidence of employers in SSU, the progress achieved in a short period of time and the rapid development of international relations. We thank our faculty, staff and students for their efforts, and congratulate each and every one of them! It should be noted that 9 universities from Azerbaijan were included in the rankings of QS European Universities. The programme is excellent. It made a difference in my professional career. Fully recommend it.

In order to develop dual education, study international experience in this field, and exchange knowledge, a meeting of dual education ambassadors in the light industry sector was held on November 27. The main objective of the meeting was to explore global best practices in dual education and address existing challenges.
