This was my final assignment for draping in the 6th semester. I filled a bodice with double-edge ruffles and sewed a pouf skirt with numerous irregular spiral flounces. Firstly, I created patterns for the skirt and bodice. Then, I proceeded to cut 72 flounces and panels for the skirt. Next, I made the ruffles and sewed them onto the bodice. For the skirt, I attached 4 flounces to each panel. In total, I used a maximum of 10 meters of calico for this assignment. Finally, the last step involved draping the ensemble with pins on a mannequin. #dapping #assigment #foryou #fashiondesigning #fyp #skirt #flounce #student #gcwuf
