Our driver Mike had the specialized Fanatics merchandise trailer at two of three events this past week. Raw in Glendale and across the border in Vancouver for Survivor War Games. The fans absolutely love this trailer! Lots of hours involved, including over the holiday, for the customs clearance to make this happen. CARM is still working out the bugs for the new crossing process making it difficult to clear on a “just in time” schedule. Weather also posed quite an issue with 4 feet dumped just days before travel between Arizona and Vancouver BC. I am well aware that 2024 was a tough one in the games industry, but I'm a glass half-full type of fella, so I'd like to shoutout the great year we had here at JALI Research Inc.!!! It's honestly hard to summarise how proud I am of our entire team and the great projects our customers produced, but here are a few highlights worth mentioning: - the incredible games we were featured in, such as "Rise of the Ronin" from TECMO KOEI GAMES Co., Ltd., "Stellar Blade" from SHIFTUP, and "Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden" from DON'T NOD (to name a few) 🤩 - seeing our friends at Lowbirth Games hit 100,000 copies sold on their first ever game ❤️🔥 - making AWESOME new pals / strengthening our existing partnerships with amazing teams such as Ozone Story Tech, Paragon Interactive, Jim Henson's Creature Shop, Respeecher (I could go on, and on, and on) 🤝 - hitting the conference circuit with my humans-in-arms Bryce Szandro, Mario Stabile, Monique Lansell 💃 🕺 - the powerful 2.0 update of JALI (for example 50x faster processing speed 🤯) - being able to work with the incredible Amir Satvat to provide GDC passes to those impacted by industry layoffs 🙏 - the fact that teams who test us seem to love us, with 67% of teams who've evaluated the software signing 🙌 - perhaps even more impressively, the fact that our friends STAY friends, with 88% of customers re-signing 🫶 Clearly, I could go on, but I think you get the picture. International Game Technology (IGT), a global leader in gaming, recognized International Men’s Day 2024 by inviting staff to step into the role of ‘big brothers’ to mentor young men from The Credo Residential Development Centre for Boys.
