Are you a fundraiser who's afraid to ask for donations? You're not alone! Many of us struggle with this fear, but here's the truth: asking is essential to your mission's success. Here are 3 tips to push through the fear: Remember your "why" - Focus on the impact your cause makes, not on yourself Start small - Practice with lower-stakes asks to build confidence Reframe rejection - A "no" isn't personal; it's just not the right fit right now Remember: Every ask is an opportunity to connect someone with a cause they care about. You've got this! 💪 #FundraisingTips #NonprofitLife #OvercomeFear

Consider: A social network in which all participants, through their participation, are 'signatories' towards a 'singular, common goal.'... 'Solely the female justices of the Supreme Court alone must decide all female-centric cases before the court related to 'Women's Reproductive Health' for their fellow 'sisterhood' in the citizenry, while their male counterparts either abstain, or even recuse from such cases, exercising the same measure of empathy.'... 'A judicial 'procedural' upheaval; not a judicial 'political' upheaval.'... empathyequalsjustice.com (Four Pages - Three Minute Read) 🤔❣️⚖️🏗️🏛️🏗️⚖️❣️🤔
Today on #GivingTuesday, I'm excited to share that I’m partnering with Every.org to mobilize the power of everyday givers—those who do what they can, with what they have, to make a difference. Starting today through December 13, my organization Pivotal is matching up to $1 million in donations in support of two organizations I deeply admire: Vote Mama Foundation and the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers. Of course, there are so many ways to give back that have nothing to do with donating money. You can offer your time, your expertise, or even your voice to an issue you care about. However you choose to get involved and give back, you’re helping make the world a better place for more people. Learn more and double your impact: https://lnkd.in/eBsGECF9

This GivingTuesday, Melinda French Gates offered to match up to $1 million in donations to Vote Mama Foundation and the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers. These two organizations are dedicated to creating opportunities for mothers in leadership and providing resources for caregivers. In a video shared by French Gates, she discusses the power of generosity to drive meaningful change. The AP News delves deeper into this initiative, including insights from Una Osili, Associate Dean of Research and International Programs of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, who explains how matching gifts encourage greater giving and amplify impact. In a season of spending, giving Tuesday is a chance to give back to organizations working to build stronger communities. I’ve had the privilege of working at I Pour Life for the past 5+ years, and in that time I’ve been amazed at the work of our LifeCoaches. Did you know an average of 1 out of every 4 youth in foster care will become homeless within 4 years of aging out of care? Approximately 25% of foster youth will be involved with the criminal legal system within 2 years of leaving foster care? 70% of girls who age out of foster care become pregnant by the age of 21? Needless to say, statistics are not in the favor of foster youth. BUT there are organizations, like I Pour Life, who are dedicated to providing hope and support for those aging out of foster care. I urge you to find an organization to give back to today, and if providing hope and support to at risk youth is something that is a piece of your passion, please consider giving to I Pour Life.
Transform lives this #GivingTuesday! 🌟 Your gift to I Pour Life helps youth in Missouri build confidence, stability, and brighter futures. All donations are doubled until Dec. 31 — don’t miss this chance to make twice the difference! Make a gift of any amount today at ipourlife.org/give #GivingTuesday #IPourLife #Generosity #PourIntotheFuture #Missouri
