LYNX Innovation Inc’s Post

Buying a lightbulb is easy - but selecting the right lightbulb can be challenging...   Home Depot recognized that customer's uncertainty around color temperature, wattage, and brightness was creating friction in the purchasing process, costing both time and sales.  To bridge this gap, they partnered with Lynx to develop a scalable, nationwide solution that improves how customers shop for EcoSmart lightbulbs.  The result was a dynamic, interactive display that enabled customers to compare lightbulb features and instantly visualize their choices, all within a seamless, user-friendly experience.  While typical displays only showcase brightness levels, we designed an enlightening experience that allows customers to compare Kelvin ratings, adjust wattage settings with the press of a button, and engage with a motion sensor feature, ensuring an educational shopping experience.  Lynx provided a definitive, consumer-friendly solution that streamlined decision-making and reinforced Home Depot’s commitment to innovation. Our ability to purposefully design and integrate technology within a retail experience is something we've been doing at Lynx for over 15 years.   If your in-store displays aren’t actively driving engagement and increasing sales, it’s time to rethink your strategy. Let’s build a smarter, more effective retail experience together. #RetailInnovation #SmartShopping #InteractiveDisplays #BrightIdeas

Congrats! 🎉

Smart light bulbs are the perfect product to leverage technology and an interactive experience to market in stores. They have so many benefits for users, you really need to see for yourself as a shopper - color changing, brightness, white temperature, and even sound! Smart light bulbs are one of the first products we worked on for DIY retailers many years ago when I started working with LYNX, and we have amassed years of experience and expertise creating excitement and "enlightenment" for shoppers in this category.
