We’re proud to support the Great British Beauty Clean Up, a pioneering initiative launched by the Sustainable Beauty Coalition to tackle beauty’s waste problem. Research reveals that 86% of plastic beauty packaging is not recycled, with only 9% of packaging actually being recycled. At LOOKFANTASTIC, we’re committed to being part of the solution. Through our ‘recycle:me’ programme, customers can recycle their beauty empties via Royal Mail doorstep collection or drop them off at over 14,000 locations, helping to reduce waste in the beauty industry. This March, we’re working alongside major retailers, brands, and the British Beauty Council to educate consumers on how to manage their empties responsibly—whether through refill, reuse, or recycling. The campaign also focuses on raising awareness of what can and cannot be recycled at home. Together, we aim to make beauty consumption more sustainable and encourage conscious recycling habits.
