This is a substantial step forward for the city of LB. Should be a great venue for the Olympics and future festivals.

Congratulations Mayor Richardson on leading the charge to literally put Long Beach back on the world stage! The new amphitheater further cements our city as a cultural destination and can showcase some of our amazing local talent! It will also significantly impact our municipal icon the Queen Mary. As a former passeger on the QM, a forty year resident of the LBC and a local arts leader I couldn’t be happier. Big results require bold moves!

Only apprx 700 cops, down from 1200, for the entire city resulting in higher crime, emboldened criminals, etc....but plenty of $$$ for frivolities. PS. The above #s are approximate per various sources as the LBPD Public Info Office did not return my calls for the exact info. Tax, spend, photo-op, repeat.!
