These are some of the reasons why Continuous Professional Development is important for educators: ✓CPD allows educators to explore new teaching methodologies and strategies, enabling them to create more engaging and effective learning experiences for their students. Teachers deserve their breaks just as much as students do! 📌 In our busy school days, we often overlook the importance of breaks—not just for our students, but for ourselves as teachers. While school-directed professional development can be effective, the real growth often occurs when we take time to reflect on our own needs and goals. During a recent break, I evaluated my teaching practices and realized how essential these moments are. They allow us to identify areas where we want to improve and develop our own learning pathways. Sometimes, the most valuable insights come in the quiet spaces between lessons. We could also use these brain breaks!
