STOP FILMING ARTISTS. One thing I have learned from producing videos for music festivals is to be "fan centric." Many videographers tend to focus heavily on the artists, which is understandable, they are famous, they have the onstage theatrics, ect. Working with festival companies I have found it is actually better to focus on the fans rather than the artists. The artists will always change, but the fan experience is "evergreen." Festivals are not selling the music, they are selling the fan experience. Which other industries could benefit from focusing more on the fan/consumer rather than the product?

[Accessibility should never be an after thought] The outrage that followed this music festivals attempt at providing an accessible viewing space puts a further spotlight on accessibility being a part of our planning not an afterthought. A lesson for all of us and one we should all be more mindful of. When it comes to the accessibility of your product or service, it’s never too late to make changes. Review what you have, and change how you deliver it in the future and that way it’s no longer an afterthought but simply what you do. #WorldMoreAccessible #WeAreBillionStrong https://bit.ly/450k6QS
