The digital editions of China's top three Communist Party newspapers have frozen, in a bizarre and unexplained digital catastrophe, leaving the voice of China's central leadership missing at the precise moment that dictator Xi Jinping is away in Europe, the China Media Project has reported. What is going on? Should we start rubbing our hands? Is there a rebellion at the top three CCP outlets - People's Daily, Guangming Daily and People's Liberation Army Daily? Is a coup under way? Will Xi have to spend the rest of his life in Moscow? Or is this a foreign hack attack to punish China for hacking overseas government databases, like the one of the UK ministry of defence reported today) and to remind Xi and his cronies that two can play at that game? I would not object if any of these questions are answered with a "yes". Do any of you have any other ideas? Paul Keating in this video interview with the ABC states: 1) If we weren’t in AUKUS then there’d be no one attacking Australia 2) Australia is more secure if we’re on our own 3) USA shouldn’t try to support peace in the Asia region 4) China’s military aggression has no designs for Australia so it’s not our business what they do 5) Taiwan is sitting on Chinese realestate 6) Taiwan is not a vital Australian interest 7) In a war with China over Taiwan, Australia would be the one doing all the offence not USA 8) If China sent an armada through the south pacific to invade Australia we’d sink every ship on their way without USA assistance 9) Australia can defend itself alone 10) The Taiwan-China matter will resolve itself politically and socially So basically “leave them alone and they’ll leave us alone”, and “we shouldn’t support our neighbors because it makes us a target”. These are cowardly words from a man who once was the Prime Minister of Australia. He might better serve his nation now by quietly sticking to his retirement. I’m really not sure why the ABC would even give airtime to him at all.

"Ukraine war would never have happened had the United States and US-led NATO stayed out of Ukraine in the first place. Underlying this was the NATO theory of continued expansion, that includes much more than Ukraine and includes all of Russia’s former empire. If NATO is defeated in Ukraine, as seems likely, NATO will need to revert to being a defensive alliance, instead of fashioning itself as an expansion alliance. There is no longer a military or economic basis for NATO’s expansion, and it brings a danger of general war which is not survivable for Europe." And now, Zelenski, a puppet of Biden Jewish neocons, offers Trump to replace US troops in Europe ? Consider now an Ukrainan occupied Germany, and Europe... True they already ocuppy Brussels...

In a world currently suffering several wars, including Russia's war on Ukraine, it is not surprising this anniversary has been largely unnoticed. Yet precisely because of Russia's subsequent wars--in South Ossetia and Syria as well as Ukraine--Chechnya has huge historical significance. This post focuses on the experience of the international journalists who brought the news of the war to the world.
