We're so thankful for all the enthusiasm around this paid internship at L2C. With over 900 applications, we're unable to give individual feedback to each applicant. We recognize that you are all eager to grow in this field, so we have summarized some insights that we hope are helpful for future applications. Why applications weren't moved forward: - Missing project links, which was a core requirement - Empty responses to the open-ended question, missing the opportunity to share your skills and interest in community work - Projects that followed tutorials or course assignments - since this is a paid position we manage outside our day jobs, we need folks who can work independently and build things without step-by-step guidance - Projects without proper READMEs - documentation is crucial in cloud engineering - Projects missing cloud services, DevOps practices and/or programming- these were key requirements in the listing - Applications from complete beginners who would need more guidance than we can provide in this role - Applications from experienced professionals trying to treat this as freelance work - this wasn't aligned with the internship's purpose We've emailed all candidates whom we're moving forward with. We appreciate every application and hope to be able to offer something like this again in the future.
Your videos are so amazing. You are a Guru
Thanks for advertising the opportunity. Learn to Cloud Team. I was able to share with my community, I hope someone makes it through. However, an observation was made that the form for submission closed earlier than as advertised. Please work on this next time you make a post to allow every intending applicant submit as expected. Wishing all the successful candidates a great learning experience. Cheers 🎖️
