Big things on the health and fitness horizon...the way people search for and consume expert advice and coaching has rapidly changed of the last few years...proud to play a small part.

This is an incredible story of faith, connection, and the power of leadership. Travis Hunter’s journey shows us that when you find the right mentor, someone who sees your potential and challenges you to rise, it can change the trajectory of your life. What stands out here is alignment. Travis didn’t chase short-term rewards—he pursued a deeper connection to a vision, a leader, and a team that shared his values and believed in his greatness. That’s the lesson for all of us: 1. Find people who push you – Surround yourself with people who push you to grow, who see what you can become, even when others can’t. 2. Commit to the Journey – Success isn’t instant. It’s built through trust, perseverance, and staying the course—even when the odds are against you. 3. Lead with Vision – Coach Prime’s belief in Travis wasn’t just about talent; it was about a vision for what was possible. Leaders who inspire that belief in others create legacies. This story isn’t just about football—it’s about life. It’s a reminder that when you’re willing to bet on yourself and align with leaders and teammates who share your vision, you’re capable of rewriting the narrative, no matter where you start. Success isn’t just about skill; it’s about connection, belief, and commitment. That’s how greatness is born. - John

The words that stand out most are “he chased connection” and regarding belief in himself “…,they did”. These two statements define the importance and impact great leadership on development and performance. Coach “Prime” Sanders could have focused on his highly talented sons as most would have done - but instead demonstrated a level of integrity and commitment to excellence that allowed them, Travis, and the team to thrive. A leader that focuses on his team’s development and doing things the right way starting with having quality team members is exactly what we all need. Leaders like this should be celebrated and learned from. What can we learn from this? If you don’t have this level of respect and support from your leadership then you need to make a change. You can never learn or grow from a leader that lacks integrity. You need to seek out a place that you have a champion and then do all you can to excel through hard work and dedication.

IPA makes three senior appointments The organisation has named Jason Cobbold, CEO of BMB, as the chair of the IPA Commercial Leadership Group.
