Tequila is still pulling in the cash for bar owners. Gin and Whiskey aren't far behind, with a touch of rum joining in. I still believe a large percentage of the profits are derived (in the on premise) in the cocktail segment, as opposed to beer and some entry level RTDS. I like the emergence of the espresso martini and mai tai. Cordials and flavored spirits are making a comeback. Beverage Solutions || Big Dog New York LLC You need to get in the agave space now. Dont forget gin and cordials. https://lnkd.in/enTEC4Va

🍸 All In The Bottle - IMBIBE London 🍸 It might seem like we're spending more time out of the factory than in it right now, but rest assured, everything is chugging along smoothly in the background. This allows us to attend these amazing shows and connect with as many new and innovative producers as we can. 👨🎓 This week, we went to Imbibe Live. The Imbibe Live Show is a trade event for the UK on-trade drinks industry, bringing together professionals like bartenders, sommeliers, and bar managers. It features exhibitors showcasing a variety of products and offers educational sessions and networking opportunities with industry experts. There were loads to see, taste and enjoy. It was great connecting with Nicolas Medicamento MIH from Club Soda and hearing his exciting future plans. His talk about creating alcohol free cocktails that customers will love, was really great, and the samples handed out were delicious. It was brilliant to see the emphasis on inclusive drink menus in this conversation, as the trend for mindful drinking is certainly not going anywhere. Also it was brilliant to catch up with two fellow Sober Business Network Limited friends, Angharad Fell from NoLo Cocktails & Bars and Denise Hamilton-Mace from Low No Drinker Magazine. It was the first time actually talking to Denise IRL which was such a treat! Overall a fun show again this year - Cannot wait for 2025, and the continuing growing focus on different NA based drinks. Did you go this week? What was your favorite part? Vodka is a brilliantly versatile spirit that works whether you find yourself in the mood for something coffee-based, light and fruity, citrusy, or deliciously sweet, vodka is there for all your favorite cocktails. Not all vodka is created equal, though. We wanted to know what the best value vodka brands are, and so we reached out to some experts to find out what they recommend. Smirnoff is a staple of liquor store shelves everywhere, and according to April Wachtel, there's a very good reason for that. Wachtel is a mixologist and the founder of Cheeky Cocktails, and when we asked her about her go-to vodka brands, she suggested Smirnoff. There's a lot of things to love about this one, from the fact that it's widely available, unlikely to disappear from shelves anytime soon, and reasonably priced. (At the time of this writing, a 1-liter bottle can be sourced for around $15.) Smirnoff has a well-earned reputation for being a smooth, easy-drinking, all-purpose vodka, and it's been around since 1864. Since it's one of the bigger players, it can produce massive quantities and sell the product cheaper. In the end, it's a win for you, and Wachtel had another recommendation. She told us that in your search for your go-to vodka, sampling a few options both neat and in a cocktail will give you a great basis for finding your favorite. Take an evening, drink some vodka like a true connoisseur, and Smirnoff? It's likely to come out on top. . . . . . #SudenPR #Client #PublicRelations #Press #Cheeky #FlavoredSyrups #Cocktails #Mocktails #PremiumSyrups #Juices #Beverages #CheekyCocktails #EspressoMartini #Espresso #EspressoSyrup #DecafEspressoSyrup #EspressoMartini #HolidayGifts #NewYearsEve #TastingTable #BestVodka #Smirnoff

𝙍𝙏𝘿 𝙘𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨, 𝙧𝙪𝙢, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝙨𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩: 😎 Ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails, rum and tequila are set to dominate the spirits market, according to new research. A survey of founders of UK independent beverage companies, by rum brand The Duppy Share in collaboration with CGA by NIQ, showed RTD cocktails, in particular, have garnered attention, with 52% of respondents forecasting “fast growth”, the largest across all formats. In terms of spirits, rum and tequila are the only categories that experienced growth in 2023 and are forecast to continue their upward trajectory, according to the companies surveyed, particularly as consumer interest shifts away from gin, which experienced a 14% decrease in sales last year. However, mirroring the trend seen in the US, agave spirits continue to gain momentum. This category saw a 4% increase in sales in 2023. Looking ahead, agave spirits are expected to maintain a steady growth trajectory, with a projected annual growth rate of 2% from 2023 to 2028. This is reflected in rum, showing a 2% growth in 2023, and forecasting a steady growth in the coming years from its larger base volume. Looking to toast the season with something extra-jolly? You can whip up one of the special Cunard® cocktails they serve onboard during holiday voyages. A favourite is "Elves Behaving Badly" - substitute the tequila and cointreau for fizzy water to make it a mocktail. Cheers! Ingredients: ♦ Tequila – 50ml ♦ Cointreau – 15ml ♦ Orange marmalade – 1 teaspoon ♦ Lime juice – 25ml ♦ Cranberry juice – 25ml Method: 1. Add the lime juice, cranberry juice, and marmalade to a cocktail shaker, and give it a good stir to dissolve the marmalade. 2. Add the tequila and Cointreau (or club soda) 3. Top with ice (a few cubes or a handful – drinker's choice!) 4. Shake-shake-shake it up. 5. Fine strain the drink into a glass – a martini glass if you have one. 6. Garnish with a caramelized citrus slice or a little cotton candy on the edge of the glass and serve.
