How to overcome «Innovation for the sake of innovation » ? … 💥 Innovation needs a #purpose. That seems to go without saying but…experience shows that this is not always the case. Innovation needs to serve a need, bring something more and valuable to a #customer. From Day 1 your market, your customer should drive and shape the development of your innovation. This is what the CVP (customer value proposition) is about. What job can be done by your product/service/solution that others cannot? So no, marketing is not a bad word !!! 👉Do my customer has a rock in his shoe? 👉How much does it hurt? 👉Can I help him get rid of it and am I the only one to be able to do so? 👉What is needed for me to convince him? 👉How much is he ready to pay for this? Science and #marketing need to walk hand in hand, even in a BtoB environment. No marketing analysis, no viable BM.
