🚴♀PROGETTO RE-CYCLING, EVENTO FINALE IL 17 SETTEMBRE A BRUXELLES! The Erasmus + project Re-Cycling  Re-Cycling - Bike reuse and riding fairs, founded by the Erasmus + programme is ended. All results have been shared during the final event in Bruxelles last 7th September. 🚲During the event, hosted in Casa Lombardia, , with Consorzio IBIS Novara , Mountain Bike Tourism Forum Germany , L'Heureux Cyclage, @Easy Drivers Radfahrschule and Eco Logic, lot of stakeholder like RREUSE - Reuse and Recycling European Union Social Enterprises, Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry - CONEBI and the #Educationforclimate programme gave the evidence on how Re-Cycling’s results can contribute to a new strategy on waste production contrast 🛠 The aim of the project is promoting cycling and bike repair among schoolchildren, encouraging healthier lifestyles while advancing the circular economy in the bike sector. ♻ Bicycles are often classified as bulky waste due to their size and multi-material composition, making waste management and recycling more complex. 💡 Our solution? Boosting bike reuse and repair by implementing circular economy policies and increasing financial support for circular bike initiatives. ❗1.5 million bikes are discarded annually in France, yet 1 million of these could be reused locally, keeping both bicycles and jobs in our communities.   A big thank you to the project partners and participants for the lively session!
