KWY Aboriginal Corporation’s Post

Yesterday, KWY was thrilled to host the launch of our new office in Port Lincoln. The day began with a heartfelt Welcome to Country by our own Travis Nash, a proud Barngarla man, followed by an inspiring address from Minister Nat Cook MP, who emphasised the importance of "knitting together and healing the community," as well as continuing to invest in regional services. Executive Directors Carol Shard and Dan Mitchell also shared our vision of services and community working together for the support of families in the pursuit of Creating a Space for Change. A big thank you to Red Cross for their wonderful coffee cart service, with youth from Port Lincoln High School brewing up some amazing coffees! It was a fantastic morning, with delicious catering from Beach Bakery and plenty of opportunity for connecting with local community members and services. We are grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate the opening of this new space in Port Lincoln. Craig Rigney #CreatingaSpaceforChange
