One of the most mind-blowing moments in the video was when MKBHD described an incredible feature of the headset: You can “pick out” a circle in real life using the VR/AR interface, and Google Search will instantly identify whatever is inside that circle. 🌍🔍 This level of interaction feels like stepping into the future—where the real and virtual worlds seamlessly blend together to offer an entirely new way of engaging with our surroundings. Great to see Marques Brownlee testing Samsung’s upcoming VR headset! While the hardware is exciting, the real game-changer is the OS. It paves the way for broader XR adoption and seamlessly integrates AI—specifically Gemini—to make interactions feel more natural and fluid. One major breakthrough? Play Store app support. Even better, apps with spatial content will allow users to "dive in" when needed. This aligns with what I’ve been saying: XR isn’t just a technology—it’s a set of layers that bring reality into context. The ability to move fluently between these layers—whether it’s augmenting what’s in front of you, blending virtual elements into the real world, or immersing you completely—is what truly matters. Hardware will continue to evolve, becoming smaller and more discreet. But the real shift is in how brands and organizations must adapt. It's worth calling out the importance placed on shareability.
