Yesterday, our team at Cushman & Wakefield had the honor to host a delegation from Wallonia, Belgium’s nuclear medicine industry, here at Skyline Club Indy, for a lunch and learn, focused on expansion and investment opportunities in #radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine between Wallonia and Indiana. The event brought together key leaders in the sector, providing a valuable opportunity for local Indiana leaders to collaborate with international delegates, exchange insights, and strengthen partnerships that will drive future innovation and investment in the life sciences industry. The Market Pulse featured four segments. Jon R. Owens, SIOR and Joshua Graham from Cushman & Wakefield kicked us off, welcoming the delegation and providing insight into the current state of the life sciences industry in Indiana, highlighting its economic impact, job market, and major players. Next, Alexis Sowder, MBA and the KSM Location Advisors team spoke on the business climate and financial incentives Indiana offers to attract life sciences companies. Last for Indiana, Dan Peddicord, Matt Witham, Paul Riehle and the Pepper Construction Group provided update on construction trends, costs, and major projects related to life sciences in Indiana. Franck Toussaint from Wallonia also provided a segment why Wallonia, Belgium, is a leading European hub for life sciences, emphasizing its strong logistics network, research ecosystem, and investment incentives. To end the Market Pulse, Gordian Roussel from MODELLO Architectes walked us through a video detailing a 3D rendering, modeling a recent radiopharama development they worked on in Belgium! In partnership with BioCrossroads, the delegates also received a full day of site visits and got to experience an Indianapolis Pacers Sports & Entertainment pregame party and win! Thank you, Mike Bolinder, Vince Wong, and the BioCrossroads crew for all of your hard work and playing a crucial role in the delegation! Last, thank you to Stephano SMARS for working so diligently to see the success of the delegation. None of this would have been possible without the drive and vision you and your team brought to the table! It was truly an honor to partake in hosting such a wonderful group of individuals!
