We’re excited to share that as of January 1, 2025, Kolektor sETup has officially launched commercial operations of two Tesla Megapack battery storage systems 🔋at Iskra Semič site ☀️ in Slovenia 🇸🇮. With a combined power of 2.5 MW and a capacity of 5.0 MWh, these state-of-the-art Tesla battery energy storage systems are now enabling us to deliver critical ancillary services to ELES, Slovenia’s Transmission System Operator. Our innovative and bespoke platform seamlessly integrates complete technical and market management for battery energy storage systems, driving smarter monetization strategies with our cutting-edge analytical technical optimization and algorithmic trading models that include full spectrum machine learning, deep learning & artificial intelligence backed by years of experience of our team operating in energy markets. By connecting directly to energy markets in real-time, we empower decision-making—such as ancillary services and price arbitrage—maximizing the commercial value of battery energy storage system operations. Partnering with Iskra this project has unlocked new revenue streams for their battery energy storage technology. Furthermore, with a joint effort with Iskra we were able to increase the connected power at their Semič location. This enhancement not only strengthens the reliability and efficiency of Iskra operations but also future-proofs their strategic vision for this historic manufacturing hub. This milestone marks a pivotal moment for Kolektor sETup and Iskra reinforcing the stability of Slovenia’s power grid and advancing our shared commitment to a sustainable energy future.
