Get your weed under control this season! It is important to note that soybeans have limited capacity to compete with weeds, depriving them of moisture, nutrients and ultimately growth. The right move would be to make sure that you implement either mechanical or chemical weed control. Both practices must be handled according to strict guidelines. For mechanical weed control, a rotary hoe is effective while cultivation between rows should be handled carefully. If you prefer chemical weed control, make sure to look at soil type and moisture before application.
