More reflections from VETS24...
Things I heard a lot at the conference:
1. "l love your team's transparency on LinkedIn"
Thank you...we appreciate the opportunity to do this in a responsible, but very open way. We see the benefits of openness and transparency more and more.
2. "Are you going to do more oral presentations/ tech demos in the future?"
Yes! We can drastically reduce evaluation timelines with this process if used effectively. In fact, I mentioned to Scott Jensen that we should have them live at VETS25 with on-the-spot evaluations and make Task Order award that same day. That would be exciting!
3. "Can I buy you a drink and chat?" 🧐
To everyone who offered, thank you for your understanding when we respectfully declined (but still chatted). While I can't use my position for personal gain, I do gain something with every interaction--an appreciation for the great people out there who desperately want to help improve Veteran Care. At events like this, I'm reminded just how much our Veteran entrepeneurs want to give back.

4. SOS-- to the gentleman I was to meet at 7:15 AM on Thursday at breakfast, I'm sorry I missed you. I was stuck at the front desk trying to get the taxes removed from my room, and was late. If you see this, please message me and we can chat! 🤷♂️
One last thing-- I love walking to baggage claim at Reagan and seeing this banner. It always brings it home! Back to work and Phase II #IHT2 Evaluations.
