I’ve never been a zero-inbox person, but recently, I decided to tackle my personal email, the one I’ve had since I was 15 or 16. It had over 45,000 unread emails (yes, you read that right). Sure, I could just mass-delete or mark them all as read, but that wouldn’t solve the real issue. The key? Unsubscribing and sorting through the chaos of that inbox. What do I need and find value in? Can I limit the types of emails? What was just a whim, good marketing campaign, or giveaway/promotion? It’s time consuming of course, but honestly, it feels good. Like decluttering a closet you didn’t realize was weighing you down. What’s your inbox style? Zero unread? Or just embracing the chaos?
