This groundbreaking initiative will explore next-generation #scramjet technologies, paving the way for realistic #hypersonic vehicles and addressing key challenges in:  💨 Supersonic thrust vectoring 🔥 Supersonic combustion jet engines  ❄️ Innovative materials and advanced cooling techniques for extreme hypersonic environments The project aims to develop and test technological building blocks critical for hypersonic propulsion, which will accelerate the achievement of European defence air superiority and strategic autonomy, with experiments conducted at the world-renowned DLR High Enthalpy Shock Tunnel Göttingen (HEG).
