Exciting news to share as we step into the New Year! Congratulations to our wonderful colleague Anita Thornton on your engagement! What a fabulous start to 2025. Wishing you and Mike both a lifetime of love and happiness!
The phrase "the most wonderful time of the year" always hits differently for me. It carries a depth of meaning that words can’t fully capture.
This season is special—full of joy, reflection, and time spent with loved ones. It’s a moment to pause, take stock, and embrace the beauty around us.
But as we reflect, let this be a gentle reminder: don’t let the goals you didn’t achieve weigh you down. Instead, celebrate the small wins, no matter how tiny they may seem. Keep showing up. Keep trying. Keep moving forward.
I once heard that clarity often comes through the clouds of confusion. In other words, just start—even if it’s messy, even if it’s scary. Action brings clarity.
So, as you step into this joyful season:
🌟 Choose joy over fleeting happiness.
🌟 Count your blessings and celebrate how far you’ve come.
🌟 Be kind to yourself—acknowledge your efforts as much as your dreams.
And as you reroute and re-strategize for the new year, don’t let the weight of planning steal the joy of this season. Jesus came to bring hope, and this is a time to embrace it fully.
Rejoice, celebrate, and cherish every moment. Put God at the center of your plans, and trust that one step at a time is enough.
Here’s to a merry celebration and an intentional, joyful start to the year ahead!
Cheers to you 🥂
Last Saturday, I had dinner with a few friends. My friend's father was there. He's about to turn 77 years old.
Over steak and some California wine, I asked him:
"Tomorrow, you'll celebrate your 77th birthday. What's the most important life lesson you've learned?" (I'm not good at small talk.)
He took a long pause.
Then, his answer surprised me.
I was expecting something about the importance of relationships, resilience, or finding your passion.
Here's what he said:
"Know your priorities and act accordingly."
Most of us live in the daily fog of short-term battles. We address our immediate to-do list, think about today and tomorrow, and focus on small wins and losses.
Do you know your priorities? Do you act accordingly?

Mrsmichaelsays.....it is not simply defined by the perspective of whether the cup is half full or half empty; what truly matters is how you actively choose to engage with the experiences and opportunities that life presents you. Rather than becoming entangled in a cycle of analysis regarding what you possess or what you feel you lack, take a moment to genuinely appreciate where you are. Imagine lifting that cup to your lips, savoring every single drop as a reminder of the richness of your existence.
Embrace the unique vitality that comes with being alive, and seize each moment with intention and purpose. Remember, the very fact that you are here, breathing, experiencing, and connecting with the world is a profound gift. Keep pushing forward, regardless of the challenges you face, and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way, no matter how small they may seem.
Be grateful for each step you take on this journey called life, recognizing that every experience—whether joyous or challenging—contributes to your growth and understanding. Take this time, especially during this season of gratitude, to reflect on the blessings that surround you.
Wishing you a heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving, filled with appreciation and joy.

Are you joyful this Christmas?
It’s Christmas Eve…
Whether you’re honoring old traditions or making new memories,
This time of year is very special for many reasons.
It’s a game changer to reflect on what you’re grateful for,
But the best mindset to enter into the new year is one of hope.
Life is full of ups and downs.
But everything is temporary.
Every situation is just one moment away from changing.
No matter how challenging things are,
Even though it’s okay to be exhausted or feel discouraged,
Don’t give up on your dreams.
Begin the new year with clarity, Be open to new things.
If old baggage weighs you down,
let it go.
Joy isn’t about fake smiles
or empty laughter.
It’s having peace and confidence even when you’re not in the best headspace.
Spend your energy wisely!
When you realize there’s nothing God can’t do,
worrying isn’t necessary.
Sharing your treasure will make you richer faster than burying it.
Are you hiding your treasure from the world?

Reflection and Connections
As we stand on the brink of a new year, I find myself reflecting on the past twelve months—It has been an incredible journey filled with moments of joy, sadness , challenges, and growth but always surrounded by love. It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, and sometimes we may not talk to or see certain people as often as we’d like. Yet, I believe every connection we make, no matter how fleeting or infrequent it may be each person who enters our lives does so for a reason. They bring their own stories, lessons, and perspectives, enriching our experiences in ways we may not always recognize. Some connections might seem small—a brief conversation with a stranger, a thoughtful message from an old friend, or a shared laugh in passing. Yet, it’s often these little moments that remind us we are never truly alone.
As we move forward into the new year, let’s cherish the connections we have, however big or small. Let’s be open to the lessons they impart and the warmth they bring.
Here’s to the memories we’ve created and the new connections waiting to be made. May we continue to embrace the beauty of our shared experiences in the year ahead.
Happy New Year from our home to yours. May the year 2025 bring you a year of kindness, happiness and prosperity.
How much of your holiday was spent the way you truly wanted?
Were you in your ideal location, surrounded by the people you love most, doing the activities that bring you joy?
If not, why not?
Did you compromise what you wanted for the sake of tradition?
Traditions can be beautiful—rooted in connection, meaning, and shared purpose. But too often, they become obligations we follow without question.
Take a moment to reflect:
• What is the original purpose or value behind this tradition?
• How does it align with who you are and what you value today?
• What would an evolved version of this tradition look like—one that honors its roots while better reflecting your current values and life?
This isn’t about abandoning tradition—it’s about evolving it. Creating something that feels intentional, joyful, and aligned with who you are now.
Starting on that evolution today means stepping into a life that feels right for you, while still honoring what matters most. Waiting another day, another month, another year means more of the same days, months, years.
What traditions will you evolve to truly reflect what matters to you and those you love?

Hey Hey! It’s Tips Tea Thursday! I hope Christmas brought you all the love, joy, and peace you needed (and maybe a little fun too)! Now that the whirlwind is over, let’s take a moment to pause and soak in what really mattered.
💌 Today’s Reflection: What’s one moment from yesterday that made your heart smile?
Sometimes, it’s not the big stuff, it’s the laugh you shared, the tight hug you didn’t know you needed, or the simple peace of the day. Let’s hold onto those little treasures and carry them into the days ahead.
💌Keepsakes for Today:
1️⃣ Write down one memory from Christmas you know you’ll be telling for years.
2️⃣ Text or call someone who made your day brighter and let them know.
3️⃣ Think about one thing you want to bring into 2025—an attitude, a vibe, or just a promise to do more of what makes you happy.
🎁 Bonus Keepsake:
Tell me your favorite moment from yesterday, and I’ll send you a personalized affirmation to set the tone for your new year.
As the end of the year approaches, take a moment to look back.
Reflecting on your journey together strengthens your bond.
In our busy lifes, it’s so easy to just keep moving forward without ever stopping to look back.
But taking time to reflect on your journey together helps you see how far you have come.
When you take the time to talk about your experiences, you are reminded of the love and support you have given each other.
Plus it gives you the opportunity to relive some of those wonderful memories you have created.
A great idea is to keep a list of all the amazing things you have done throughout the year and then create a New Year’s eve tradition where you sit down and go through your list.
