We had the honour of welcoming Scotland’s Chief Medical Officer, Sir Gregor Smith, to a Burns Gym session with Care UK residents, and it was truly special. This was about shining a light on the strength, joy, and determination of the residents who show up week after week. Witnessing their energy and spirit alongside someone as respected as Sir Gregor was a real privilege. Huge credit to the Care UK team, Andrew Knight Martin Friend Suzanne Mumford QN Michael Doolin Omar Taylor Angela Zuraw for the incredible work they do every day to support meaningful lives across their homes. Encounters like this remind us just how vital exercise and wellbeing is in the future of care.
