PORT ST. LUCIE — Named among the 50 best places to live in the U.S. by Money magazine for 2024, Port St. Lucie, Florida stands out for its expected job growth of 10% by 2028 and the abundance of parks and recreational areas. The city, Florida's sixth-largest, is expected to see job growth of 10% by 2028, fueled by a burgeoning 3.5-mile warehouse district along Interstate 95 hosting major companies like FedEx, Amazon, and an upcoming Costco distribution facility. This facility alone is anticipated to create over 500 jobs. Port St. Lucie's appeal is also bolstered by its 60 parks, recreation areas, and events, including the Saints Golf Course, Eggstravaganza Easter egg hunt, free River Night events, and the McCarty Ranch Reserve which offers a range of outdoor activities.
