Congratulations are in order! University of South Carolina running back (and Isophit user) Raheim Sanders is one of three players selected to receive college football’s 2024 Comeback Player of the Year Award. He will be honored during an on-field ceremony at the 2024 College Football Playoff Quarterfinal. Raheim, also known as “Rocket” for obvious reasons, was a 2022 breakout star at the University of Arkansas in 2022, finishing second in the SEC with 1443 rushing yards—but his 2023 season was derailed by a knee issue and severe shoulder injury. Rocket refused to be daunted by a complicated recovery process—he transferred to South Carolina for the 2024 season, where he was introduced to Isophit by Chip Morton, the Senior Associate Director of South Carolina’s Strength & Conditioning Program. After starting to train with Isophit, his performances improved steadily over the 2024 season. Not only was Raheim third in the SEC in rushing yards, he also led conference running backs with 316 yards receiving on 27 catches. We can’t wait to see what Raheim does next!

Everyone loves a redemption story....but this isn't a redemption story. It's a story of overcoming adversity, coming together as a team, facing obstacles as one unit, supporting one another and, let's not be mistaken, prayer on and off the field. I didn't attend The Ohio State University (too big) nor did my children (also too big) but we are proud Ohio State Buckeyes nonetheless. We'll get Michigan next year but, for now, it's important to share this story of perseverance, teamwork and belief in one another even when it seems like all is lost. It's also a story about not jumping ship when the chips are down. The lessons these college kids - and their coach and their fanbase - learned this year are applicable to all businesses and all people, especially when you have surveys saying manufacturing is still in contraction. Maybe so, but 2025 is a long year and, as my Buckeyes have shown, a lot can happen in a year! Stay the course, stay committed, and invite a higher power to join you in the effort! Here's my favorite quote so far: "There's multiple ways that you can respond to adversity in life, and that adversity brought us closer as an entire group," receiver Emeka Egbuka said. "We were able to lift each other up in that moment, and we've gotten stronger because of it." https://lnkd.in/eKiEhFAK #OhioStateBuckeyes #nationalchampionship #Buckeyenation #OSU #perserverence #strongertogether

It might be old news that CB Cormani McClain committed to the University of Florida, but his case sheds light on a glaring loophole the NCAA needs to address. A new trend is emerging where top recruits and transfers are joining teams as "walk-ons," while receiving substantial NIL money from the school's collective to cover their school costs. This loophole, used by the Florida Gators in this situation, raises questions about the future of fair play in college athletics. Traditionally, the NCAA allows 85 scholarship spots for football. The Florida Gators have become notable players in exploiting this NIL loophole. A prime example is five-star cornerback Cormani McClain, who joined the Gators not on a traditional scholarship but as a walk-on supported by NIL money. This move allows Florida to bypass the strict scholarship limits and expand their roster beyond the regulated numbers. The NCAA now faces a critical decision: whether to amend scholarship rules to close this growing NIL loophole. However, distinguishing genuine walk-ons from those benefiting from NIL deals is a complex challenge. At the end of the day, this is college football, and schools will do whatever it takes to win. #nil #collegefootball #floridagators #cfb https://lnkd.in/d_Ycr5vJ
