Congratulations to SmithGroup on their IIDA Northern California Honor Awards nomination for Sunnyvale City Hall! We were honored to contribute to this groundbreaking project, which earned both Net Zero carbon and LEED Platinum certifications, making it the first city hall in the nation to achieve these distinctions. The goal: to create a hub for community, not just a public office building. We used this idea to lead our design concept, creating inclusive and functional spaces for all.
